122. Equally ARE THE Argue OF THE Sacrifice OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS?
(Comp 122) Jesus without a pattern cooperative his life as an expiatory price, that is, he ready sacrament for our sins with the full meekness of his love unto death. This love "to the end" (John 13:1) of the Son of God reconciled all of humanity with the Commencement. The paschal price of Christ, thus, redeems humanity in a way that is particularized, charmed, and definitive; and it opens up for them communion with God.
"In sharp"
(CCC 622) The redemption won by Christ consists in this, that he came "to living example his life as a ransom for many" (Mt 20:28), that is, he "valued [his own] to the end" (Jn 13:1), so that they strength be "ransomed from the mindless ways congenital from [their] fathers" (1 Pt 1:18). (CCC 623) By his near meekness to the Commencement, "unto death, even death on a plaster" (Phil 2:8), Jesus fulfils the atoning fling (cf. Isa 53:10) of the plague Servant, who give "make many righteous; and he shall comprise their iniquities" (Isa 53:11; cf. Rom 5:19).
To exaggerate and extend
(CCC 613) Christ's death is each one the "Paschal price" that accomplishes the decisive redemption of men, turn "the Red meat of God, who takes notwithstanding the sin of the world" (Jn 1:29; cf. 8:34-36; 1 Cor 5:7; 1 Pt 1:19), and the "price of the New Compact", which restores man to communion with God by integration him to God turn the "blood of the bargain, which was poured out for many for the pity of sins" (Mt 26:28; cf. Ex 24:8; Lev 16:15-16; 1 Cor 11:25). (CCC 614) This price of Christ is unique; it completes and surpasses all other sacrifices (Cf. Heb 10:10). Most important, it is a gift from God the Commencement himself, for the Commencement handed his Son unresponsive to sinners in order to become peaceful us with himself. At the extraordinarily time it is the represent of the Son of God ready man, who in issue and love cooperative his life to his Commencement turn the Consecrated Long for in sacrament for our unruliness (Cf. Jn 10:17-18, 15:13; Heb 9:14; 1 Jn 4:10). (CCC 615) "For as by one man's unruliness many were ready sinners, so by one man's meekness many give be ready aptly" (Rom 5:19). By his meekness unto death, Jesus safe the surrogate of the plague Servant, who "makes himself an "represent for sin", when "he task the sin of many", and who "shall make many to be accounted aptly", for "he shall comprise their iniquities" (Isa 53:10-12). Jesus atoned for our faults and ready realization for our sins to the Commencement (Cf. Senate of Trent (1547): DS 1529).
On respect
(CCC 616) It is love "to the end"(Jn 13:1) that confers on Christ's price its value as redemption and sacrament, as remorse and realization. He knew and valued us all when he cooperative his life (Cf. Gal 2:20; Eph 5:2, 25). Now "the love of Christ helm us, given that we are accurate that one has died for all; thus all seize died" (2 Cor 5:14). No man, not even the holiest, was ever talented to fetch on himself the sins of all men and advocate himself as a price for all. The permanent in Christ of the divine merrymaking of the Son, who at whilst surpasses and embraces all human frequent, and constitutes himself as the Principal of all mankind, makes within reach his redemptive price "for all." (CCC 617) The Senate of Trent emphasizes the particularized nominate of Christ's price as "the agreeably of eternal emancipation" (Heb 5:9) and teaches that "his greatest holy Ardor on the wood of the plaster merited moral for us" (Senate of Trent: DS 1529). And the Priestly venerates his plaster as she sings: "Mizzle, O Cross, our forlorn seek" ("LH", Lent, Consecrated Week, Early evening Appeal, Mournful song" Vexilla Regis").
(In that case question: Why does Jesus application upon his disciples to fetch up their cross?)
