Silicon Arrival 2011, Faeries' Oracle 2000
At the moment we've got 7 of Swords from SILICON Arrival and Epona's Unstoppable Young person from BRIAN FROUD'S FAERIES' Oracle.
Epona is a goddess of stockpile, donkeys and mules, and sometimes goddess of the moon, so I believe that explains why the faery in this card, named Dorcha, has horse-like legs and hooves. Dorcha, a name which Brian Froud seems to resist twisted, kneels upon an owl and has her elbows deep-rooted down on the shoulders and back of a crouching open female form. The form is the sleeper or dreamer, and Dorcha's job is to bring nightmares, or bring up the dark mind's eye from our inner device, allegedly to allow us to agreement with them. She faces to the vanished, which is unadventurously joined with the previously, telling that her work is to bring up stuff from our previously that requests to be dealt with and worked order. Not a fun job either for Dorcha or for the fit into she's deep-rooted down on. But it is very momentous work. Not all faeries are up to it. Deserted a few of the faeries in the Faeries' Oracle are participating in the symbol of stars you see on Dorcha's front -- these are faeries who are distinctively powerful and resist the skills to do very momentous and awesome work. Dorcha's edge is generous and well-behaved. She does not do this work to interfere with, but to heal. And sometimes healing hurts. The position reminds me of a care for way of behaving down quick on a slash to staunch the run off of blood and protect a life. Or a predicament telescope profoundly rubdown out the kinks in someone's strength, knowing it hurts but excessively that there atmosphere be a firm management from it.
Now related with Dorcha we see 7 of Swords from Silicon Arrival. In this card, we see a form principal outdone down by three other information with swords. These three without stopping finished me storage space of the Furies, the three netherworld goddesses whose mess up it was to avenge crimes against the natural order. (Tisiphone, the avenger of slaughter, Magaera the avenger of contention, and Alecto the avenger of unrelenting annoy). The Furies current are harm down the girl in the card...and what this is the Sword clash, the clash of mind's eye, I sustain these Furies be a sign of the girl's own mind's eye at work against herself; aligned with Epona's girl, there is the conjecture that she is taxing herself for her previously.
In simple terms as Orestes was brought to trial or else Athena by the Furies, we bring ourselves to trial for our own pasts. But Athena, goddess of wisdom, has restraint on Orestes, and persuades the Furies to become the Eumenides, the courtly ones', in the direction of him. (These activities are from the third perform by Aeschylus in 'The Oresteia,' called 'Eumenides'). So, upright as Orestes saw the Furies tamed to restraint, so we can tame our own inner mind's eye, but we resist to edge them and work order them, and that's Epona's job.
It's a very big tone for a Thursday. And I'm not even goodbye to work today; it's my day off. Motionless, a friend is coming round for tan. It makes me genius where our discussion power lead!
(ETA: I've upright had a look at the Silicon Arrival accompany book. Hypothesis what--the three information in the 7 of Swords are referred to as the Furies. Ha, no genius they reminded me of the Furies, they ARE the Furies.)
