Christian Calls Islam A Superstition

I was remark a late lamented event of The Rachel Maddow Picture in which she was reading some of the choice unusual messages proponents of the Oklahoma legislation banning Sharia law were transport to people opposite the legislation. Chops about true American idiocy! My dear letter was one in which the maker, logically a Christian, terminated with, "Your religion is a superstition." It doesn't get other condescending than that.

Alas, I shaded that this Christian was not nowhere to be found in believing that Christianity is by some means choice true or less superstitious than any other religion, farther than or familiarize. This is part of what makes religion dangerous: it fosters an us vs. them be careful, imbues the "us" with divine clearance, and dehumanizes the "them" drink kindred with evil.
